London HOT-SPOTS: Sweet Mira's Birthday at the Foundation Bar (London)!

A 'Jam Jar' of water....anyone? (Foundation Bar, London)

Sunny greeting my darlings......it is good to see a bright and cheery London this week! Nothing like a bit of sunshine to keep us all smiling! It's been a busy week of Birthdays and there is still much more to come!

On Saturday, I was at the Foundation Bar in Covent Garden (London) celebrating my friend Mira's Birthday....and what a night we had! Just turning left out of Covent Garden and almost directly opposite by the side of Marks and Spencer is the little alley where Foundation Bar is hidden.....surprisingly easy to find even for someone who is as clueless in directions as me! Down a wide unsuspecting staircase and through some big black double doors, I arrived in a dark underground world with dimly lit lights and typical club decor. As I ventured further, I felt like a mouse going through some tunnels within a big cave and entering a secret world hidden from the outside world, where relaxation met with fun friendliness. Being only about 8pm it was surprisingly half filled already, after all most clubs don't really start until 10pm, and I sat down with our Birthday girl Mira as well as other friends for a bit of catching up time. One of the quirky features I really liked were the 'Jam Jars' that were used to serve water....what a cute idea and a great way to recycle things in a trendy way! I must say I do love dancing quite a bit and it is one of the main reasons that will draw me to a club, so when the DJ began spinning some brilliant dance tunes we just had to take the empty dance floor and make it our own! We danced the night away, forgetting the world above ground, singing along and rolling with laughter in the company of friends.......the memory of other nights where I have danced even as much melted into a distant past. It was a brilliant night and our sweet Birthday girl Mira was the hottest smiling beauty on the dance floor.....we couldn't have asked for a better night! All in all, the Foundation Bar in Covent Garden (London) deserves a 4 ♥♥♥♥ out of 5 lovely hearts from me, and definitely recommended for a cheerful fun filled night dancing with friends!

My cutie pie.....BouBou will be turning -ONE- years old on the 22nd of June 2012!

So with two Birthdays done so far there are still a few more to go! My little treasure BouBou who is vastly more than just a cat to me, you should understand, will be having his FIRST ever Birthday this Friday 22nd June 2012!! And I daresay that I am actually more excited about his Birthday than he is! So the weekend will most likely be filled to the brim with celebrations, as it is also my friend Gabby's Birthday on Saturday, and lots of dancing from ballet rehearsals! Have an utterly fabulous weekend my darlings!
